While women who write about women's sports can't calm down about Sydney Sweeney, who doesn't play women's sports, "setting back women's sports" by getting naked in an ad, Sophie Cunningham, who does play women's sports, doesn't see what the big deal is. Get this: men gamble on sports, and men like hot, naked girls. I know, right?

Sophie mostly supports the ad. Morally, she isn't thrilled about it, which I get. On one hand, I find it morally wrong to use sex to sell gambling. On the other hand, Sweeney is hot, and I like it when hot girls take their clothes off. It's quite the conundrum.

But Sophie doesn't get what the big deal is.

But why are girls mad? That is literally what she does. Why is anyone mad? It is a gambling ad: men, sports, pretty much naked women. Of course, that’s going to draw attention. Again, do I agree with it? Morally, I think it’s kind of weird, but each to their own. Go do your thing, sis.

I don’t think the ad was coming for women in sport. ... This has nothing to do with us.

Of course, the same people who hate Sydney Sweeney also hate Sophie Cunningham, and for similar reasons. Sophie expressed the nontroversial opinion that men shouldn't play women's sports. Yes, even when they claim to be women. When the left and the media (but I repeat myself) demanded she apologize and take it back, they did not.

Sweeney's crime was having too many of the "wrong people" (aka, right-leaning people) enjoying her American Eagle denim ad and having fun with it on the internet. When asked to apologize for her whiteness and the whiteness of people who thought she filled out a pair of jeans nicely, she also refused.

The left and the media (but I repeat myself) hate it when you have a different opinion than them. They LOATHE it when you're a woman with a different opinion than them. That is the only thing the drama about Sweeney's nekkidness is about.
