Seems these days everyone in the media lives in perpetual fear of smacking themselves in the face with a rake. Or ten rakes. But when you drop rakes in fields then wear blindfolds as you run through them, what else do you expect? That's how I'd describe the media's handling of Sweden. Wherein Trump said bad things were happening in Sweden. The media said "nope." Then bad things happened in Sweden.

You can't write this.

Look, the media hates Trump to the point of blindness. Sure, Trump doesn't always finish his thoughts. Sure, he's had some poor policy rollouts. But when Trump simply misspoke, the media couldn't wait to polish up their finest pitchforks and march on the town square. Except by the time the media got there, Sweden was ablaze.
