Daniel Paul Rakowitz is a known cannibal responsible for "The Butcher of Tompkins Square Park." He killed his roommate, chopped her up, boiled her into a soup, and fed it to homeless people. 'The View' host Sunny Hostin is very proud of the fact that she was the lone juror in this case, as she believes she is the reason he was found not guilty by reason of mental disease. No, this is not satire. Yes, she really is that insane.

Per the New York Post:

He dismembered her and boiled her head for soup, leaving her skull in a bucket of kitty litter in the baggage room at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

He boasted that he ate her brains and also fed some to local homeless people, including a soup one witness testified contained an intact human finger.

I do not understand why it is so hard for people to believe, but all murderers are “insane.” It is not possible to be of a sound mind and capable of taking someone's life. This, combined with the fact that the chemical imbalance theory has been debunked, proves that the insanity defense is no defense at all, in my opinion. Nonetheless, even if there were some cases where people ought to plead insanity, which there certainly are not, can we please make an exception for cannibals who feed human body parts to the homeless and mothers who brutally commit mass murder against their three children? This article should not exist. In a sane society, Clancy and this sicko cannibal would have been executed by now and held accountable for their actions. Apparently, we do not live in a sane society.

“The insanity defense has been around in Massachusetts for 182 years, so I think it’s well established. And I thought absolutely she was not criminally responsible by reason of insanity,” she said of the Clancy trial outcome.

“And the reason I felt that — I feel so strongly about this holdout juror is because I was a holdout juror in a case in the Daniel Rakowitz case. I don’t know if people remember it, The Butcher of Thompkins Square. It was in 1991…” she trailed off.

It truly is something the mental gymnasts these lunatics will resort to while having zero remorse for the victims, but that tells you all you need to know. And just remember, her vote counts just as much as anyone else's.
