Whether ABC received violent threats over the short suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s show remains unclear. What is evident, however, is that there was almost no fear strong enough to keep him off the air, as he’s returning to broadcast. That said, the left did make enough threats against Sinclair that the network was forced to cancel their tribute to Charlie Kirk. That tells you all you need to know about the current political climate.
Sinclair canceled airing tribute to Charlie Kirk after ABC stations got violent threats: reporthttps://t.co/kkRz0pfkDK

According to The Post Millennial:
Sinclair Broadcast Group scrapped its plans to air a tribute to Charlie Kirk after multiple violent threats were directed at local ABC affiliate stations, according to a report from the New York Post. Last week, Sinclair was set to air the special on its affiliate stations but abruptly announced it was pulled and would be available on a YouTube link.
The fact that the left screamed about nonexistent government censorship—going so far as to blame the president—yet fails to see that it’s their own side fueling terrorism-like threats, tells you everything you need to know: political violence is far more common on the left than they would ever admit.
The TV giant, which owns over 40 local ABC affiliate stations, was facing “local threats directed at specific local ABC stations resulting from [the] ABC suspension" of Jimmy Kimmel, a source told the outlet. The revelations come after a suspect also shot up a local ABC affiliate station in California last week.
At the time of pulling the on air special, Sinclair posted to X, "Tonight, Sinclair will continue to air ABC network programming as scheduled in the late-night time period. The Charlie Kirk special will instead be available on The National News Desk's YouTube channel, ensuring viewers can continue to enjoy ABC programming while also providing full access to the special online."
This is what the left does: they intimidate anyone who gives a platform to voices they disagree with, pushing until their tantrums achieve their goals. Unfortunately, that mindset has already cost an innocent man his life, and the left won’t let us forget it—proven by the fact that they still refuse to give him a platform.
If the left could defend their ideas on their merits, they wouldn’t have to resort to this—but they can’t, and unfortunately, this is hardly surprising.
