And to prepare for the incoming Trump Administration, they are...cutting their budget by 30%?

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) president, Mary Kay Henry, has told staff that “[b]ecause the far right will control all three branches of the federal government, we will face serious threats to the ability of working people to join together in unions” and that cuts would start immediately, with a 10% budget reduction by this Saturday. News of the 14 December internal memo was first reported by Bloomberg on Tuesday.

So, because you're going to be under attack you are...cutting available resources. Wow, unions really DON'T understand economics. But they do understand scare tactics, which is what this sounds like.

In an emailed statement, an SEIU spokeswoman, Sahar Wali, told the Guardian that the planned cuts were necessary “as we prepare to fight back against the forthcoming attacks on working people and our communities under an extremist-run government”. Wali said that SEIU was looking for “financial refinements to implement” that would best allow the SEIU to grow.

“Working families are fed up with not being able to improve their families’ lives no matter how hard or how long they work while greedy corporations and self-interested politicians continue to rig our economy and political system,” Wali wrote.

Huh. So on my little visual train down the list, I noticed a trend. Did you see it? Lots and lots o' unions funding the Democrat Party. Which makes me think our assertion that unions are basically money laundering schemes for the Democrat Party is right on the bitcoin. The Democrats "make deals" to get more business for big unions...who then funnel money back into the Democrat coffers for reelection. Money laundering.

This year the Democrats should've cashed some of their accounts and funneled the dollars into these super nifty porcelain appliances most frequently spotted in restrooms. Sometimes in rows. Prior to the money being shoved down the appliance's aperture, the paper tender might have seen some utility as a wiping device. Instead, the Democrats backed the broom-straddling She-Devil to run for president. Talk about flushing your investment.

Ahem. So pardon me if I'm not drowning in my own tears that the SEIU, who is most likely trying to scare the bejesus out of its members, cuts its budget. Though if my spirit was so moved, perhaps I could use some of the cash laundered to the Democrat Party to dab away my salty, salty tears.
