Republicans dodged a bullet on Tuesday night, as left-wing whackadoodle Aftyn Behn did NOT get elected to a Trump +20 congressional district in Nashville. Are there lessons to be learned? Sure, I guess. But more importantly, there was an exchange between Scott Jennings and Kaitlyn Collins, where Collins pushed the Democrats' latest talking point, and Jennings called her an idiot. Not with his words, but with his eyes.

From 2020 through 2024, the Democrat Party embraced every batsh*t crazy leftist idea, and called any American who didn't a racist, sexist, transphobic homophobe who was anti-science. Defunding the police. Cashless bail. Abortion up until crowning. Taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners. Exposing your daughter to penises in the girls' bathroom after they had their mouths shattered by a boy playing field hockey. And so on.

Then Donald Trump got reelected, running against someone who embodied all of that. Now, in 2025, Democrats want to push the talking point that nothing they said prior to announcing they are running for office in 2025 counts. You can't hold them accountable for what they said as a "private citizen." They want you to believe that the consultant-driven, market-tested words that come out of their mouths today are who they really are and NOT all the consultant-driven, market-tested words that came out of their mouths prior.

Of course, Kaitlan Collins and CNN are happy to do what they're told. Such a lack of self-respect must feel freeing.

COLLINS: Hurr derp she didn't campaign on those things derp laser focused on affordability derpity derp.

JENNINGS: ...

You know, instead of crafting a snarky and hilarious version of what he said, the legit look on his face says it all.

This is the biggest thing to watch out for in 2026, especially after the left and the media (but I repeat myself) were successful in 2025 with The Zohran and the two women in Jersey and Virginia whose names I don't feel like looking up. What Democrats said prior to that let you know who they are as a person and who they'd be if elected to higher office will be considered a "MAGA talking point," not to mention -ist and -phobic. The only thing that will matter is who the Democratic candidates pretend to be prior to election day. Hashtag "laser focused on affordability."

That's not to say the right doesn't need to be laser-focused on affordability ourselves. SPOILER: Referring to affordability as a "con" doesn't convince Americans you are laser-focused on making life more affordable.

But we need to know the main play the media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) will attempt to run, so that we can counter it.
