Rob Reiner has proven to us time and again he's worthy of his All in the Family character's namesake. Nobody can fault Archie Bunker for calling Rob a no-good meathead. Just take his latest attempt at lowering everyone's collective IQ by a couple dozen points.

He's certain Trump is a slav-squatting Russian plant and he's got "evidence" to prove it. See for yourself:

Yeah, Rachel Maddow said it so it must be true.

I'm not the only person getting amusement from Rob's mental inadequacies either. A whole bunch of peeps on the Twitters gave him hell for his remarks:

I hate to break it to Robbie, but "Rachel Maddow says it's true" doesn't count as evidence. In fact, appealing to a so-called "authority" in the place of evidence is a logical fallacy. You would assume a smug leftist celeb with delusions of profundity would avoid such noob mistakes. Alas, thinking isn't Reiner's strong suit.

The left will never cease with the Russian conspiracies. Even if they have to pull nutty pieces of "evidence" from their rectal regions to keep the narrative alive. It would be one thing if progressives actually had some real, tangible evidence proving Trump is in league with Putin. The problem is a photo of Trump in an Adidas tracksuit taking pulls off of a bottle of Stolichnaya have yet to surface.

If real proof of Trump being a traitor were to come out, I'd be happy to supply the cross and nails for the crucifixion. Though, the ramblings of a lying hack like Rachel Maddow just aren't going to cut it. We're going to need solid evidence of the Donald being the Kremlin's bitch boy. Until then, the Russian collusion narrative will continue to be viewed as grade-A bullhickey.
