Few creatures in democrat party politics are as detestable as teachers' union mob boss Randi Weingarten. The childless harpy who is in charge of the people who are supposed to be educating your children always seems to be focused on nothing that has to do with the education system as much as whatever the left-wing talking point du jour is. Now it's a boycott of Target because something something ICE. This has nothing to do with preparing for the upcoming school year, but "f*ck them kids" is how Randi rolls.

Randi is demanding teachers not buy back-to-school supplies from Target, as part of the left's year-long vendetta against the retailer. I'm still confused about why. The best I can tell is that someone heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another that ICE arrested someone in a Target parking lot in the Mogadishu-St. Paul area. Target didn't denounce ICE. White liberals have been unable to calm down about it ever since.

What the teachers' union thinks ICE enforcing existing immigration laws has to do with, like, teaching is unclear. What is clear is that out of all the issues they are focused on, education is at the bottom of the list. Let's flashback to the pandemic.

The teachers' unions colluded with the CDC to keep schools closed. They were also behind masking your kids even though it wasn't based on any science. Masks, mind you, that Weingarten KNEW impeded learning.

During the pandemic, Randi, her union goons, and the Democrat politicians she gives millions and millions of dollars to:

• Called attempts to reopen schools in the fall of 2020 "Reckless, callous, cruel"
• Pushed aggressively at the local level to keep schools closed
• Areas with high union influence -- aka, areas run by Democrats -- remained closed much longer
• The school closings continued well in 2022

Now because Target didn't send out a press release supporting illegal immigration, Randi wants teachers to buy their crayons, glue sticks, and child-proof scissors from a different giant corporation.

She's a gross person.
