Politics and professional wrestling are not without their similarities, though I sometimes question which is more scripted and which is more political. Also, wrestling story lines lately are easier to follow. But that's not the issue here. At issue is failed presidential candidate and Democrat assclown Tim Ryan sullying the sanctity of pro wrestling to explain why he was walking out of President Trump's SOTU.

Not amused by the comparison was Glenn Jacobs, mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Jacobs is better known as Kane, The Undertaker's brother, who had a penchant for setting people on fire. If there is anyone who is an authority to speak on the similarities and differences between the two entertainment mediums, it would be Mayor Jacobs, who chokeslammed Rep. Ryan straight to hell with this single tweet.

Some of Kane's former colleagues tweeted "YES! YES! YES!" in response.

For every president. And it's made worse by the way cable news and political websites treat politics like a sporting event. If you want to hate on the only WWE Hall of Famer to be elected president for using the pageantry to his advantage, whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

But if we're going to make a wrestling analogy, the State of the Union is WrestleMania. The President is "Le Champion" Chris Jericho. Rep. Tim Ryan? He's the Judy Bagwell on a Pole Match.
