The country has been in an uproar since the introduction of what the left calls the “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida. The left’s upset attitudes toward the bill are about as ridiculous as the moniker they’ve given it, as they’ve demonstrated both a complete misunderstanding of the bill as well as exactly why it’s so important it be law.

And today, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the Parental Rights in Education bill (which is the real name, by the way).

The left is taking it extremely well, of course, screaming into the sky and flailing their arms about in the air because the world is about to end and the word “gay” will henceforth be banned in the state of Florida. That’s what they believe, at least, but again, they have no clue what the bill says. But their ignorance won’t stop them from being upset about it.

And leading the chorus of lamentations is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who took a moment between slugs of cheap vodka to tweet out her disappointment.

Yeah, except no… The bill has nothing to do with LGBTQ students. It’s directed at instruction in schools, and even then, it simply says that children in third grade and younger shouldn’t be taught sex and gender material.

But it’s not just Pelosi who took to Twitter to broadcast their ignorance and anger to the world.

There’s a bit of a theme here, but those complaints are intersectional enough, so…

I mean, that’s a little more on-brand, but there’s gotta be something even more ridiculous… Oh, wait, maybe DeSantis signing this bill is just like *brainstorms for 2.3 seconds* PUTIN!

I think we get the idea. Everything is the worst thing in the world where the left is concerned. DeSantis is “hateful,” “absolutely horrible,” bigoted, and despotic because he supports parents and wants to protect children from ideological brainwashing. If that’s what it is you can go ahead and call me a hateful despot, as well.

The left hates you, and they want your children. That’s a pretty terrible combination if you ask me. I might keep that in the back of your mind as you look toward casting your ballots in November. There’s no telling what these kinds of people will do if they’re allowed to keep or gain even more power.
