A New York City hospital announced it would no longer provide sex-change operations to minors. So trans activists are sticking it to the man by sticking they/themselves with hormones in protest. No, seriously. They are standing outside the hospital and jabbing themselves with needles. That's the story. If we wrote this as a sketch, Crowder would reject it and tell us to come back with something less ridiculous.

"We're taking our HRT here at the doors of the people who have given up to demystify, normalize, and celebrate our trans bodies in the face of NYU's cowardice," declared a totally normal person still wearing a mask in 2026.

Here's what happened. In 2025, the Trump Administration declared no more pumping minors with hormones or mutilating their genitals, what democrats refer to as "gender affirming care," paid for with Medicaid or Medicare. NYU Langone allegedly kept up the practice, prompting a Department of Justice investigation.

The two sides settled:

Under the agreements, NYU and UPMC will cease providing these dangerous interventions to minors, which include administering puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones and performing surgical procedures. Each hospital will also pay a monetary amount as part of the resolutions, with NYU agreeing to pay $8.5 million and UPMC $950,000.

In defense of the 20% of yet another 80/20 issue that democrats are on the wrong side of history on, a mob of activists who all look exactly like you expect them to look are taking their HRT treatments in front of the hospital to normalize the procedure.

Now, these are grown-ass adults doing it, while NYU Langone only announced they wouldn't pump children with hormones anymore. Presumably, if you turn eighteen and still think you are the wrong gender, they'd still service you. It's only children they won't administer life-altering drugs to for what could very well be a phase that those minors grow out of. If the democrat party has its druthers, they'd have you make these life-altering decisions before you have the chance and the maturity to say to yourself, "Self, what the hell am I doing?"

Also, and I shouldn't have to say this, but protesting outside of a hospital rarely ever works out for your cause. Yet for whatever reason, leftists (aka mainstream democrats) really hate hospitals and/or children in hospitals. A quick flashback:
