Any politician still downplaying the fact that Joe Biden was anything but a sleeping potato during his time in office is either a liar or painfully naive. And while both may be true, when it comes to Gov. Gavin Newsom, something tells me it’s the latter.

Newsom has been spending a lot of time doing podcasts and interviews. This may or may not be because he plans to run for POTUS. You do the math. In a recent interview with Kristen Welker, he said how much he despised politicians who lie to your face. Ironically, he then proceeded to blatantly lie like his life depended on it.

Moments later, he found the nerve to claim “There was nothing to suggest” that Biden was experiencing a mental decline. This implies that he believed that Biden was still capable of being president. This also means that he believes that anyone who sounded the alarm about this decline for years, even well before the man was elected, is a liar. But if the shoe fits, it fits. I know, you know, and your grandma knows that any politician who still wants to play dumb about this does not have your best interest at heart.

He really would like it if you believed Trump is "federalizing and militarizing American streets with the United States military," adding that Trump is a threat to democracy, while emphasizing that people need to "wake up" to those claims. And while calling this a lie would be an understatement, it's also extremely pathetic at this point. The Dems have been trying for nearly a decade to convince you that Trump is literally Hitler. It's this crap that lost them the election and will do Newsom zero favors when he officially embarks on his campaign. Newsom should take his own advice, because the only people who hate liars more than him are everyone else.
