Celebrity rants against Trump are unoriginal and actually quite boring (see WATCH: Dumbass Celebrity Has-Beens DEMAND Electoral College Blocks Trump and Top 10 Desperate Celebrity Appeals to Vote in Midterm Elections). So leave it to former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee to rant with a little panache. Or is it current Motley Crue drummer? Honestly, I'm not sure if the band's still together. Though recent videos I've seen of Vince Neil trying to sing "Kickstart My Heart" make me hope they're not.

But I digress. Here's Lee's rant. I'm assuming at least alcohol was involved.

Some highlights:

Planned Parenthoods on every damn corner. We're going to repaint Air Force One p**** hat pink and fly it over your beloved Bible Belt 6 days a week, tossing birth control pills, condoms & atheist literature from the cockpit.

We're going to gather up ALL your guns, melt them down and turn them into a gargantuan metal mountain emblazoned with the face of Hillary Clinton.

We're going to tax your mega churches so bad that Joel Osteen will need to get a job at Chick fil A to pay his light bill. Speaking of Chick fil A, we're buying all those and giving them to any LGBTQ person your sick cult leaders tortured with conversion therapy.

Look, if we're being honest, he had some good material. The line about Pence and "mother" made me choke on my coffee. And my colleagues on other sites can do the "celebrities should shut up about politics" thing. I didn't think Nikki Sixx should shut up when he called AOC a "whack job." Tommy Lee has the same right to discuss politics as other entertainers like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham. Celebrities voting for different people than I do is already assumed.

Where it gets pathetic is when they turn their anger toward the half the country who disagrees with them. Which in Lee's case, is not the half of the country who would want to see the band canceled over the rather non-woke Netflix biopic.

I just hate that even The Crue has become politically divisive. They used to be something people bonded over. To quote great western philosopher Lou Dorchen, "We have a lot in common. We both like tits and Motley Crue."

Other conservatives can do the outrage thing. I'm going to go listen to the Girls, Girls, Girls album instead. I want to remember how we were.
