Climate ChangeFebruary 03, 2024
Someone the LA Times DIDN'T lay off wants you to believe throwing soup at the Mona Lisa helps fight climate change
The Los Angeles Times just laid off 20 percent of its workforce. And it’s because they publish asinine stories that are so astonishing, you wouldn’t even believe The Babylon Bee would publish it.
The publication just published a very serious article about why throwing soup at the Mona Lisa actually can help fight Climate Change.
Oh, the writer is so proud of her itty-bitty article. I am no hater, but I am blunt. So sorry, Shannon. Your "article" was pretty pathetic. But congrats to you and the baby. I am very happy she didn't "abort" her "choice". Because I think it's very safe to assume what her stance on abortion is. Have you ever met a climate activist who was pro-life? Me neither. So I am glad she made the right "choice".
When in-your-face activism takes place at the same time as formal institutional challenges, studies show the combination can help increase awareness of the problem and support for moderate action. Researchers call this the “radical flank effect.” It was effective for both the civil rights and feminist movements, and it is evident in other political movements in the U.S. today.
None of that makes sense. This is nothing more than an extreme attempt to gaslight the masses that there is some logic to this madness. But this sad and pathetic attempt only proves how painfully stupid these activists are, and that they cannot even explain what they were trying to do with their failed attempt to ruin the Mona Lisa.
Climate protesters are shifting course in the U.S. as well. President Biden made climate change a focus of his first presidential campaign, but activists aren’t getting anywhere close to what they want and have made him a recent target of protests and hecklers.
Criticism of extreme activism often misses a crucial point: Public reaction isn’t necessarily the activists’ end goal. Often, their aim is to influence government and business decision-makers.
Objections to acts of climate activism such as the latest food fight at the Louvre are understandable but might miss the point. Protesters’ perceived madness is indeed method.
Okay, let's try and dissect what this lunatic said. The writer claims that radical activists are making Joe Biden focus on Climate Change. And because radical activists want to influence the government instead of the general public, this is a good thing. And that the method to the madness is in the madness of the protesters.
Um, what?
First of all, the writer is claiming that these incredibly spoiled, naive, and radical brats are begging for the government to have more control. They are begging for more taxes. They are begging for a nanny state. And they don't care that the majority of the public does not want this. But because they are mad, that makes all of this sane.
I have no other words to describe that than pure evil.
Although I am impressed with my ability to make sense of this lack of logic, I am also extremely angry now after reading that. You have to be incredibly ignorant and stupid to think that any government or bureaucrat has even the slightest clue on how to control the direction of the wind.
These people are so pathetic. They spend their days furious over the fact that they have no control over the weather. Subsequently, they chose to live in la la land and desperately hold onto any hope that the government might save the world from its destruction.
There has never been a time in history where the Government has saved the world by taxing people.
Clearly, we are dealing with dangerously stupid people here. Because throwing soup will do nothing to stop the climate from changing. Even three-year-olds know that.
