James O’Keefe dressed up as a Muslim to expose voter fraud in Minnesota; now Islamic groups are demanding he be prosecuted

James O’Keefe entered a Minnesota polling station with two undercover journalists. They were all dressed in traditional Muslim attire, including full face coverings, or a niqab, if you will. Election workers informed O’Keefe and his team that as long as they all lived in the same precinct, O’Keefe could vouch for them. Or, in other words, he “is the ID.”
Unsurprisingly, a Muslim advocacy group is mad about this because they believe it was disrespectful. Unfortunately for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), there is this little thing in America called “Freedom of the Press.” That right is afforded no matter who is offended. And the fact that they have more problems over a costume than Minnesota’s insane election rules tells you all you need to know.
Here is the video in question:
White Liberal Poll Workers tell me “You’re the ID” and that I can vouch for eight other voters in Minnesota after seeing me dressed like a Muslim. https://t.co/nAV5bACGpZ pic.twitter.com/OOG4zkYo3r

LOL. This would be hilarious except that these election rules are totally asinine.
According to The Post Millennial:
CAIR-Minnesota called on authorities to investigate after O’Keefe and members of his team entered Minneapolis polling locations during the Aug. 11 primary wearing traditional Muslim clothing and using obviously fake accents to test how election workers would handle attempts to register voters through Minnesota’s vouching process. The demand comes after Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon similarly said law enforcement was reviewing the conduct and warned that the participants may have placed themselves in “legal jeopardy.” O'Keefe and his team are undercover journlists with a long history of exposing fraud and corruption.
The undercover operation was conducted by O’Keefe, Anthony Rubin of Real Muckraker, Cam Higby and the Citizen Justice League, who visited several Minneapolis polling locations and presented workers with deliberately extreme scenarios involving multiple people who were supposedly unregistered.
No illegal votes were cast in this investigation, according to the outlet. But how is this even a thing? This insanity needs to end. Anyone who believes this is an acceptable way to run elections is part of the problem. And to call this a “threat to democracy” would be an understatement.
