Minneapolis continues to be the subject of scandal after scandal. Clearly, they wish to top the Summer of Love with their dedication to bashing our federal law enforcement officers. To city officials, there is no greater sin than holding people accountable for breaking federal immigration laws. It does not matter if those people have been accused of crimes post facto, as that is nothing more than a personal problem for American citizens. To the left, this is deeply troubling, so much so that the city deemed it necessary to invite staff to a “healing circle” with therapy goats.

According to Goat Journal:

Therapy goats are a unique fusion between farm and hospital, between agrarian roots and ultra-modern medical care. The goal of any animal therapy is third-party improvement: Helping a patient’s social, emotional, or cognitive functioning. Bringing along an animal can make a therapist seem less threatening, particularly for traumatized children or those afflicted by mental disorders. There’s nothing like hugging an animal to increase rapport between patient and counselor.

The city is essentially equating staff's reaction to ICE enforcement efforts to traumatized children with mental disorders. You truly cannot make this level of unseriousness up.

According to Townhall columnist Dustin Grage, “Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office emailed staff inviting them to a ‘healing circle’ with ‘therapy goats.’ While Democrats fan the flames against ICE agents. City staff are being offered quiet reflection time with goats. This is not a parody. This is Minneapolis.”

I love goats as much as the next person, but I don’t think that simply enforcing the law is so traumatizing that city funds need to be used for this. Quite frankly, it’s truly pathetic. These people cannot even handle officers enforcing the law. You cannot make this level of insanity up. But if you are surprised by this, you are not paying attention.

It’s time to make Minneapolis great again, and no amount of therapy goats can stop that pursuit. Unfortunately for the left, that is nothing more than a personal problem.
