Migrant Who Received Minnesota "Outstanding Refugee" Award Has Just Been Charged With Medicaid Fraud

Why does it seem like every time the left lifts and honors migrants, they end up being accused of some of the worst crimes?

Salman Ahmed Elmi once received an "outstanding refugee" award from the State of Minnesota. He has just been charged with Medicaid fraud. Why is this not surprising?

According to Fox News:
Salman Ahmed Elmi is facing three counts of aiding and abetting by swindle and five counts of aiding and abetting by false representation as part of an alleged scam to bill Medicaid for over $1 million in fraudulent services, Fox 9 Minneapolis reported. The charges also allege that two members involved in the fraud scheme were tied to a sex-trafficking ring involving brothels.
In 2021, the Minnesota Department of Human Services, an agency deeply involved in the massive fraud scheme that has unfolded across the state in recent years, honored Elmi with the title "outstanding refugee" along with an Entrepreneurship Award.
If you are shocked by this, then you are not paying attention. What even made him supposedly “outstanding”? Does the department also award Americans for being “outstanding”? Or is that an honor only afforded to criminal immigrants?
More often than not, when the left demands you honor a migrant for being a good person, the exact opposite is true. And while this is not the same as an ICE deportation hoax where the media claims that that person was just a father, the illogical lack of reasoning is the same. The left despises you and will do anything to gaslight the public to convince you that mass migration makes this country a better place, despite the evidence proving otherwise.
That being said, have you received your award yet for being an outstanding citizen? Because the fact that these special honors are only afforded to criminal migrants tells you all you need to know.
