There was a time after 9/11 -- you remember that, right? -- when they wanted to open an Islamic Center where the towers were taken down, and even liberal NYers thought that was a bit much. Almost twenty-five years later, the city is set to elect an anti-American communist whose pitch to the Democratic Socialists of America was that he was going to build a coalition of socialist voters and Muslim voters. Driving that point home is our latest Mug Club Undercover video starring Robert Akleh, the Citywide Canvas Director for The Zohran’s campaign.

Apropos of nothing, this is from last night's mayoral debate:

Akleh sat down with our MCU reporter and revealed how The Zohran will use Islam to win the NYC Mayoral election.

“The thing that we really keyed in on was South Asian Muslim voters. And getting them out to vote.”

“We organize the mosques. We get the imams to tell people, go vote… We get young, lesbian, white women to go give out flyers at a mosque.”

“The only thing he [Mamdani] can do is stop the NYPD from helping them [ICE]… He can go to the NYPD and be like, 'Do not let them into the courthouses.'"

“The people that I worked with on AOC's campaign are actually on Zohran’s campaign, and then a couple of people I worked with on Jamaal Bowman's campaign are actually on Zohran’s campaign.”

Ah, yes. Famed Washington D.C.-based (by way of Westchester County) social media influencer Rep. AOC:

According to prediction market Kalshi, The Zohran has a 90% chance of being elected the next mayor of New York City. Unless something drastic changes, New York City and its residents are in for one hell of a ride. Leaving the rest of us to practice the following sentence: "This is what you idiots voted for."
