It looks like Dr. Wladimir Lorentz, founder of 'Have My Baby in Miami,' may have taken some notes from Anthony Fauci.

Rep. Brandon Gill questioned Lorentz about his birth tourism business. Rather than clear some things up, including whether his business helped more than 2,000 people come here to give birth, Lorentz pleaded the Fifth Amendment over and over and over again. Why do you think that is?

The fact that birth tourism exists proves we have a problem. It should not be as easy as taking a trip to Florida to earn your child citizenship. This should not be a thing.

According to The Center Square:

The company, also known as "Have My Baby in Miami," promotes services for pregnant women seeking to give birth in the United States. The U.S. House Oversight Committee announced in May it had opened an investigation into Lorentz and the company at large.

"[The] website continues, it's got a section for documentation, health insurance, advising foreign nationals on how to obtain international health insurance, housing in the United States even," Gill said. "It's quite thorough."

LOL. Where have I heard this one before?

I thought this sounded familiar.

The website is no longer available to the public, Gill said. The Republican congressman asked whether Lorentz planned to answer all of his questions by invoking the Fifth Amendment, which he replied in the affirmative.

What a disgrace. The fact that there are businesses accused of running a birth tourism business is a scandal that is worthy of much more outrage than there is. What a total disgrace. Lawmakers have got a lot of work to do.
