With the release of Avatar 2, James Cameron can't help himself. If he can find a virtue, he's gonna signal it so bright it'll burn your retina. Shunning guns shouldn't surprise anyone. Like many Hollywood leftists who made a fortune "fetishizing" guns, he wants you to believe he is done with "fetishizing" guns.

So much so that he went through the trouble of filming ten expensive minutes of guns fetishizing for Avatar 2, just so he could cut it out of the movie.

“I actually cut about 10 minutes of the movie targeting gunplay action. I wanted to get rid of some of the ugliness, to find a balance between light and dark.”

Bro, you're responsible for Terminator. Go sit in the corner and shut up.

Maybe Hollywood's elite is in the midst of a contest of sorts. Where whoever scores the most woke points by the end of the year wins a prize. Because Cameron looks like he's in competition. He wants men to expel the dangerous toxin known as "testosterone" from our bodies. The filmmaker also can't understand why we don't see six-month pregnant women fighting bad guys in movies.

(It is unclear if James Cameron has ever met a woman who is six months pregnant. WikiPedia says he's been married five times and has four kids. But it's also Hollywood, so none of that means anything.)

Though Cameron has a high bar of wokeness to vault over. This is the man who once said Gal Gadot was too hot for Wonder Woman to be a feminist movie. A virtue he was so proud of signaling, he doubled down on it.

James Cameron is the latest lefty who made a fortune on gun movies wanting us to believe how embarrassed he is he made a fortune making gun movies. He should join the support group Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill have over their embarrassment of once making comedies.
