Impeachment LiveFeed Caught Press Snapping Photos of GOP Notes
Okay, shameless whataboutism heading toward your face in 3, 2, 1, how would the media react if it caught the press taking photos of Democrat notes at the impeachment hearings? I ask only because the CNN livefeed caught the press taking photos of the GOP's notes during a recess at the impeachment hearings. And... crickets.
Check it out:
SPOTTED: While we were on the House floor voting, @CNN's live feed caught press photographing documents on… https://t.co/4TbNaAcB7Z— Rep. Mike Johnson (@Rep. Mike Johnson) 1576181202.0
Ballsy. One guy covers, the other goes in for a quick little snap. Not to worry, just possibly some legal documents prepared by some Republicans. Republicans who probably think Hitler is swell and kick puppies to warm up their day.
Though I'm not yet sure to what press corps or network these two dudelets belong, I will point out that Donald Trump takes all kinds of flack for calling the "fake news the enemy of the people." Could you explain to me how taking photos of documents like this makes the press the "friends of the people"? Because I don't know, I thought some stuff wasn't supposed to be leaked to the press. So I therefore assumed some of that same stuff shouldn't be stolen from by press. Call me a simpleton.
Regardless of what the photo was, can we agree that maybe press shouldn't take a photo of a Congressperson's desk if that Congressperson isn't around to give permission? Not a lawyer or anything, but pretty sure privacy laws may apply here?
