Huffington Post would like you to know that just because parts of the United States are suffering under record cold only seen in post-apocalyptic films and nerdy fantasy shows, that global warming is still a real concern caused by naughty humans in love with their SUVs and paper bags. So when a politician spouts off about how we need to tax this thing and that process, you should just fork over your cash. Nobody solves problems like government.

Except here's the problem as seen at the bottom of HuffPo's puff piece:

Thanks for admitting it's by no means settled. As we skeptics have been saying for years. Even though people like Bill Nye say we should be jailed.

You know what else explains bouts of cold weather in winter? Winter. It's cold. Sometimes it gets colder than usual. I realize with the Midwest getting hit with negative numbers you only theorize about in algebra it's tempting to cast blame. But I thought we were supposed to separate climate from weather like we're supposed to separate gender from sex. What are the rules in 2019?

Undoubtedly this new polar vortex attack will unleash fresh claims that global warming is a hoax. But this ridiculous notion can be quickly dispelled with a look at predicted temperature departures around the globe for early this week. The lobe of cold air over North America is far outweighed by areas elsewhere in the United States and worldwide that are warmer than normal.

You know what else is undoubted? Leftists insisting human beings are so powerful we can make winter more wintery and summer more summery, and that the only way to solve the problem we accidentally caused somehow is to give more power to a government which can't even run the Post Office. So there's that.

Symptoms of a changing climate are not always obvious or easy to understand...
