63-Year-Old Survives Hammer Attack, Has Surprising Reaction Towards The Man Who Tried To Kill Her
it is probably not a good idea to take advice from someone who has been hit in the head with a hammer, as Stockholm Syndrome has now taken a whole new level.
The 63-year-old woman who survived an attack by a man with a hammer is speaking out as police have not arrested a suspect. She believes the man who threatened to kill her is a lost soul who just needs a hug, according to KGW8.
63-year-old hammer attack survivor says people like the suspect need help, not punishmentwww.youtube.com
“I feel very sorry for the state he was in. If this happened to another person, I’d say punish the attacker. No, I don’t have that in my heart because I think that he - I don’t know who he is or who he might be - but I think that he has something very big in his mind, or in his heart that made him do this,” Salas Buenrostoro said in Spanish.
Right, because he attacked you with a hammer out of the kindness of his heart.
The incident happened last Thursday at the Beacon Hill station when a man allegedly struck two elderly people with a hammer. Elvia Salas Buenrostoro was one of the victims of the attack and subsequently suffered a concussion and three broken ribs.
The suspect was captured on footage walking around wielding a red hammer.
The other victim, Doug Krogel, who was bludgeoned with the hammer on the top of his head after he jumped in to stop the attack on Buenrostoro, narrowly survived.
“He said anything a little closer to the center of the skull, it would have probably gone through. I got really lucky,” Krogel told the outlet. “I glanced back just for a second to see where the ladies were at, and he clobbered me. He was a lot faster than I thought he was."
“He was on the attack, and you could see it in his eyes. He wanted somebody and he's looking at me,” he added.
Krogel is an Air Force veteran who is battling lung cancer. He was on the way home from chemotherapy treatments when he was hit.
He said he hoped the attacker would be caught.
“I think he needs to be locked up, probably somewhere where he can get some mental health, the best one,” Krogel said.
The woman victim in this situation empathizes with her abuser. This is the literal definition of Stockholm syndrome.
She actually thinks this man just needs a hug and that will somehow solve everything.
In case it was not clear to her, people do not do evil things out of the kindness of their hearts. They do evil things because they have a lack of values. Which subsequently makes them evil.
You cannot fight evil with 'love'.
I think the description ‘useful idiot’ is perfect in this situation.
It's people like this victim who fuel ideas that subsequently allow criminals to get away with everything.
This woman has essentially turned the attacker into a victim. Which is spoken like a true progressive.
What she is advocating for will only result in more people being attacked like this.
Is that what she wants?
This is what you call a ‘doormat’ and it is actually really pathetic and sad.
