America is in reruns. Gas prices are on the rise again, and Joe Biden is blaming gas companies again. The same Joe Biden who when gas prices were coming down, blamed... himself. But they are on the rise again, so Joe Biden says it's the fault of the gas companies again. He's even releasing oil from the strategic reserves again. As of this writing, there is no word on if he's going to send THAT oil overseas again.

Doocy knew we've seen this story before, so he threw Karine Jean-Pierre a curveball. He was all like, "Joey says he's going to put oil companies out of business. Why should they listen to him about lowering prices?"

KJP was all like, "what the deuce are you talking about?"

Then Doocy was all like, "remember when Joey said he was going to put fossil fuels out of business? What is it you think the oil companies do?"

Set aside that both President Biden and members of his cabinet have bragged about high gas prices and how awesome high gas prices are for their agenda. CANDIDATE Biden explicitly said in the last presidential debate he would shut down the fossil fuel industry. THAT'S how the administration is trying to put them out of business. Because Joe Biden said if elected, he was going to put him out of business. Every decision Biden has made about energy since he was sworn in has shown that he is a man of his word.

Oil companies aren't stupid. The American people aren't stupid. Can't say the same about the White House.
