You don’t have to agree with anything Charlie Kirk believed to recognize that murdering him for his ideas is objectively evil. This should make it extremely easy to condemn his assassination. Yet instead of doing that, Destiny has decided that his morality depends on the president of the United States saying things that have nothing to do with the situation at hand.
Streamer Destiny refused to condemn the assassination of Charlie Kirk, claiming his refusal was contingent on the president going on air and saying, “We all need to calm down.” However, this stance makes him look far worse, since these statements came after he told his live audience that “conservatives [need] to be afraid of getting killed.”
Tell me you’re morally inept without saying it. Destiny will go first…
There is nothing more irritating than the left acting as if the shooter was some right-wing nut who killed Charlie for not being conservative enough. You’d have to have the IQ of a goldfish to actually believe that.
Nonetheless, it shouldn’t be hard for anyone with even a basic understanding of moral values. Shooting someone over a political disagreement is objectively wrong—something even toddlers could grasp—but that seems to be too much for Destiny to admit. I would even go so far as to say it’s painfully difficult for him to condemn the act outright, as evidenced by the fact that he made his condemnation contingent on the president going out of his way to say unrelated things.
This is almost logically equivalent to saying, “I won’t condemn the assassination until Trump goes on air and condemns mouth-breathers.” Morality is not contingent upon Trump doing or saying anything, and the sooner Destiny realizes that, the better off he will likely be.
The state of the radical left can be summarized as follows: “But Trump… What about Trump… Blah blah blah Trump.” You really don’t need to say anything more than that.
Nonetheless, all of this becomes ten times worse when you realize he not only refused to affirm basic morality, but even went so far as to claim that conservatives must live in fear of being killed for reasons that are neither logical nor moral.
Question: Why must people on the opposite side of the spectrum live in fear of being killed? How would that make him feel better at night? And for him to claim that it’s Trump who needs to call for unity is both comical and deranged, given his own statements.
He actually said, “Trump must call for unity,” just seconds after claiming that conservatives must live in fear while going about basic daily tasks. You truly cannot make this level of insanity up.
Also, why does he curse like that? Does he think it helps make his point? Didn’t his mom teach him better than that? Well, that is neither here nor there. The point remains: Destiny, the definition of terrorism is “the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims,” and the sooner he condemns it, the better off he will be.
