I know that you know that Democrats hate America. They get elected to office hating the country they have been elected to office to. In related news, rain is wet, beer is delicious, and Sydney Sweeney has a sweet pair of... jeans. Every so often, you get an example that is a little too on the nose, like a congresswoman declaring her allegiance to a foreign country over our country while speaking a foreign language in another foreign country.

Progressive International, described as "openly anti-capitalist and anti-American," held their annual Panamerican Congress in Mexico that American congresspeople went to. It was the usual suspects: Rashida Tlaub, Ilhan Omer, etc. It was Rep. Delia Ramirez, however, who stole the show. She was born in America, but her parents came here from Guatemala. That's where her allegiance lies, as opposed to the country she allegedly represents as an elected official.

Oh, and her husband is here illegally. Like I said, a little too on the nose. According to a translation to her speech, she also hit all the other socialist buzzwords, describing America -- the country she is an elected official in -- of “imperialism, militarization, conquest, control, competition in its attempt at domination.”

Ramirez represents an Illinois district that was anti-democratically gerrymandered by the progressives who run Illinois. At least, I think "anti-democratically" is the correct phrase. That's what the left and the media (but I repeat myself) are saying about Texas, which was inspired by states like Illinois and New York to redraw their Congressional maps. Maybe while Texas Democrats are hiding in Illinois to avoid doing the jobs they were elected to do, they can get an accurate definition.

In a statement to the Daily Caller, the White House said of the American elected officials gleefully attending an anti-American conference, “These Democrats’ comments are despicable and underscore their commitment to putting Americans last. In stark contrast, President Trump is working tirelessly to secure peace deals, deport illegal alien criminals, and advance America’s interests at home and abroad.”
