Not sure who said it first (hoping it was me), but those who're all in on believing COVID-19 is worse than science and medicine actually says it is are cultists. Here to put one point in the "Yep, cult" column is a Florida (of course) lawyer Daniel Uhlfelder, who protested Miramar Beach opening by staying home and writing "you hate old people" comments on Facebook. Wait, that's not right. Sorry, that's just what everyone else is doing. My bad. This lawyer went to the beach dressed as the grim reaper.

This dude standing behind the reporter as if he was going to behead her with his scythe, that really drove the point home. Suddenly I don't think we should open anything, guys. Let's just keep staying at home and not go out into the fresh air, sunshine, or dip our tootsies in salt water which basically kills everything. The Florida reaper hath spoken and we had better heed his level-headed, not at all weird, creepy or inappropriate response.

Never mind the science on COVID-19 is in and we know, not think, know that this virus is basically just another strain of the flu in how it behaves and who it affects. Never mind that 30 million people are unemployed. Never mind that every day Americans are having their lives destroyed and their rights trampled over a cough that is pretty fatal to people who are old and also have "comorbidities." Never mind facts. There's a narrative afoot, and we must all obey lest the dark hooded one knock on our doors to force us to stay inside.
