Jasmine Crockett rants that you're totally xenophobic if you call it a crime for illegal immigrants to be here illegally

Someone should really inform Jasmine Crockett of two crucial things. First, just because someone is “seeking a better life” doesn’t mean it’s justified to break federal immigration laws, especially when many others pursuing that same better life are waiting a very long time to do it the right way. Secondly, an immigrant—documented or undocumented—is neither a race nor a nationality. So, criticizing those who have broken federal immigration laws isn’t inherently xenophobic.
Crockett claimed during a congressional hearing that labeling individuals who enter the country illegally as criminals is xenophobic because they’re escaping bad economies or something like that—and blah blah blah.

The crazy thing about her statement is that you don’t need to “paint” undocumented immigrants with anything—breaking federal law already defines the situation. And ironically, it’s the left that keeps creating endless labels for them. How many do we even have at this point? We’ve got “undocumented,” “person without legal status,” “noncitizen,” “migrant,” “unauthorized immigrant”—the list goes on. How many different terms does one person need just because they broke our laws?
What was even the point of that rant? Was it supposed to convince anyone that just because foreign nationals recognize America is superior, that somehow gives them the right to cut the line? Like, be for real.
That being said, the left can come up with whatever terms they want, but it doesn’t change the fact that these individuals have, in fact, committed a crime by breaking the law. And to claim that Conservatives are the ones unfairly labeling them—while the left does everything it can to gaslight the public into believing that breaking the law somehow isn’t a crime—tells you all you need to know.
