Ndiaga Diagne killed two people and wounded over a dozen more after he opened fire at a bar in Austin on Sunday. During his murderous rampage, he chose a sweatshirt that said "Property of Allah" and a shirt similar to the Iranian flag. Common sense would tell you this was a blatant act of terrorism. Thus, this should be condemned by all elected officials for the sake of the matter that terrorism is bad. Jasmine Crockett, however, did not want to waste time with that and instead thought it was the perfect moment to blame white people for mass shootings.

First, she claimed that the “facts are the facts,” which she then proceeded to mention zero facts. All she did was repeat the leftist lie that illegal immigrants commit fewer crimes than American citizens. While she didn't say "illegal immigrants,” the left uses the term interchangeably, which is why we know what she meant. This is disproven by the fact that they arrive here committing a crime by not following federal immigration laws. However, considering she’s so stupid and believes illegal immigration is not a crime, she said what she said.

She then proceeded to make it about race by repeating another lie, claiming “Black folks sit around and say ‘I hope they are not black.’” She claims this is because if they were Black, then it would mean there is “another target” on their back.

She then proceeded to say that if Texas had better gun laws, this would have never happened. While in the same breath, she pretended to claim she was a “gun-toting Texan.” However, if this were true, you wouldn't be trying to take people's guns away. While the shooter is now dead, we can almost be certain he would have never picked a target place where he knew the people were armed.

She does realize it was because of an officer with a gun that stopped the shooter, right? She also realizes that criminals don't tend to follow gun laws, right? Given the fact that it's illegal to randomly shoot people, we can safely assume there was no gun law he would have followed to stop him. This is common sense, but it's not like it is common with her.

Turning this into a debate about White Supremacy or gun control deeply misses the mark and shows how unserious people like Crockett truly are. Not only is it a slap in the face to the victims and downplays this act of terrorism, but she's proven there is no low she is willing to stoop to in order to spout her leftist talking points. But what else is new?
