High calorie family in Los Angeles says they’re “afraid” now that SNAP is running out of money.

There is a lot of SNAP content out on these digital streets. What fascinates me about this clip is that a third party conducted this interview and felt it would be sympathetic towards the pro-SNAP cause. If we were to create a parody video highlighting why SNAP should be reformed, I can't imagine it looking much different than this.
To recap, Democrats are still holding the government hostage because Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is scared by social media influencers like Rep. AOC. Mind you, this is the same Schumer who cancelled his book tour on antisemitism because of all the antisemitic Democrat voters that were planning on showing up and yelling at him. At this point, the Democrat Party will probably keep the government closed until after Election Day. But that's beside the point.
On November 1st, because Democrats have held the government hostage for so long, people were unable to get their SNAP benefits. NBC News travelled to a food bank in Los Angeles to see how food-insecure people were managing.
These are people who work in the journalsiming industry in Los Angeles. A 2-liter bottle of Pepsi says we vote for different people and have different opinions on SNAP. The journalismers, creating sympathetic content, thought a couple who don't look like they've missed a meal ever, yet claim they struggle to feed their kids, would pull at the heartstrings.
Instead, the exact opposite happened.
"We didn’t ask for these kids to come but what are we going to do?"
"People are even afraid to come out of their houses to work."
Being "afraid to come out of their houses," I'm gonna guess, is a reference to Donald Trump's common sense illegal-immigration reform, as well as Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) using misinformation and the politics of fear to scare people into thinking Trump is kidnapping anyone with an accent. Yes, the same Democrats holding the government hostage and causing a disruption in SNAP benefits, and the same media that is expecting you to feel bad and not blame them Democrats for it.
Only an LA-based journalismer would think putting someone on a camera saying she didn't ask for her kids would make you feel sorry for her. That's what fascinates me most about this content. Either the journalsimer or the producer or the zoomer who has access to the TikTok account, out of all the footage they recorded, thought that THIS needed to go out on the internet.
