We all know how the left gets their butts chapped over the successes of the NRA. How dare those kiddie-killing gun pushers be so good at preserving the right to bear arms. As such, lefties are trying their hardest to take the NRA down. Just give a listen to Cory Booker's plans for the group if he wins the presidency:

Booker wrote a column in New Hampshire’s Concord Monitor Sunday in which he promises “the most comprehensive gun violence prevention plan in decades – and brings the fight to the NRA like never before.” The senator also plans to unleash the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) against the pro-Second Amendment organization.

“Beginning on Day One of my presidency, I’ll take action to close dangerous loopholes in gun sales, crack down on unscrupulous dealers and gun manufacturers, and invest in communities impacted by gun violence. And I am immediately calling on the Internal Revenue Service to investigate the NRA’s tax status to determine whether the self-dealing and other activities recently reported in the press should lead to revocation of its tax-exempt status,” he wrote.

Yeah, this doesn't sound like an abuse of power at all.

Sounds to me like Spartacus here is gonna use the power of government to crack down on groups he doesn't like. So, if you're a Constitution-loving group under Cory Booker, you can kiss your tax-exempt status bye-bye.

Something tells me baby chop shops like Planned Parenthood would remain untouched. On top of that, they should receive more tax ducats to aid in their baby holocaust. Even though they're profitting by selling baby parts for scrap. Perfectly ethical. Nothing to see there, folks.

This is the exact reason why we want the government to have less power. Government butt nuggets have no business deciding who gets tax-exemptions based on their own biases. Though, good luck getting that through lefties' thick skulls.
