An arrest has been made in the killing of a Los Angeles Jewish man, but CNN's headline is what's revolting
Nothing but love to our friends at Libs of TikTok, but we had to go to CNN to confirm this one for ourselves.
There have been a lot -- A LOT -- of shitty headlines by corporate journalismers in their "reporting" of pro-Hamas protestors getting violent against Jewish Americans. Particularly when it comes to the Los Angeles man who was killed. We've been sarcastically tweeting, "Woman, who was standing in the street when a truck hit her in Charlottesville, has died" to illustrate the political bias. That's basically what a lot of these headlines are saying.
An arrest has been made. That was LITERALLY how CNN headlined the article:
Repost this because I can guarantee this headline is being ghost-edited as we speak.
The incident occurred Sunday in the LA suburb of Thousand Oaks. Paul Kessler, protesting in support of Israel's right of self-defense, was struck in the head by an unidentified protestor supporting Hamas' October 7th terror attack against Israel. The later protests are covered in the media as "Pro-Palestine." After Kessler was struck in the head by the pro-Hamas protester, the elderly man fell to the ground and hit his head on the pavement.
In a statement from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, they "determined the cause of death to be blunt force head injury and the manner of death homicide."
Loay Alnaji, the pro-Hamas protestor who attacked Kessler, was arrested today and charged with "involuntary manslaughter."
CNN's opening paragraph:
A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a Jewish protester who fell and hit his head during Israel-Hamas protests in Southern California earlier this month, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Thursday.
The physical altercation isn't mentioned until paragraph five.
The 11000+ death claim that is made by Hamas is cited. There is no mention of Alnaji attacking and hitting Kessler.
Then in the very last paragraph:
The cause of death was determined to be blunt force head trauma and the manner of death a homicide, Young said. The latter, he noted, is a medical determination meaning the death occurred at the hands of another person, and it does not mean a crime has been committed.
Once again, an SUV murdered people attending a Christmas parade in Wisconsin.
However much you hate the media, it's not enough.
