The #1 issue going into the midterms is the economy. That's a tough one, because it's not enough to tell voters how great the economy is; they need to feel it. The #2 issue is immigration, and Donald Trump got the Democrat Party to admit they DON'T stand for American citizens over undocumented democrats in this country illegally. To see just how bad this is for the left, we turn to CNN polling guru "We're Just Wild About" Harry Enten.

You'd think with all the anti-Trump content that legacy media has been creating, or the content that the Democrat party has been creating, that the legacy media has been repeating, immigration would be a good issue for them. Right?

Nope.

This whole idea that Democrats are gonna be able to take advantage of the immigration issue actually DOESN'T bear itself out in the polling — despite everything that’s been going on! In fact, Democrats are in a WORSE position than they were during Donald Trump’s first term!

Take all of the negative content that legacy media has created about Trump's common-sense illegal immigration reforms. All of the content they created about deportations. All of the anti-ICE content. Every sob story that changed after 48 hours once actual facts came in. Take everything that the left and the media (but I repeat myself) did to turn Americans against Donald Trump on this issue.

Americans support Trump on immigration and the border MORE than they did at this time during Trump v1.0.

I get that, traditionally, the party in charge always loses seats in the midterms. The streets were saying losing the House in 2026 was fait accompli when we ended Election 2024 with only a five-seat majority, and that was before Democrats started redistricting while the GOP ran to their rooms to write "Alone in my Piriciples" with their thumb up their ass. I'm looking at you, Indiana and Utah.

But maybe put the blackpills back in your sock drawer. The media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) have thrown everything at Trump because they don't support ANY immigration laws, yet Trump is more popular on the issue now than he was. And that's without tens of millions of dollars of ads showing where the Democrat Party stands. SPOILER: It's not with the American people.

Once people start to feel the economy, Democrats will have to make up another dossier in order to stop Trump's momentum.
