Three Friday examples of how the media is a failed institution that sucks at life in the Charlie Kirk aftermath

It took all of ten minutes with my morning coffee to want to throw my hand-etched mug at my computer. I know that you know how much the media sucks at life. And how much vitriol the people who work at these journalisming outlets have for anyone who has a different opinion than them. We've all seen the Slack channels.
Ten minutes was all it took before I was hit with not one, not two, but three examples of why we loathe the media. Let's start with Rolling Stone, which has sucked ever since their hit piece on Stillwater. They've noticed the increase in unemployment at schools and medical practices in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination.
The MAGA right says Charlie Kirk is a martyr for freedom of expression, but still want people to lose their jobs for criticizing his rhetoric

No, we want people fired for mocking and celebrating his assassination. And I'm not even sure "want" is the correct word. The left and the media (but I repeat myself) are the ones who came up with the new rules that people should be shamed, cancelled, and/or fired for using the wrong pronouns or liking the wrong meme. In following those new rules, people should also be fired for celebrating a young father of two being murdered, for no other reason than he expressed opinions they disagreed with.
And that's even if they are upset with his actual opinions vs. the opinions they think he had because the media and the left (but I repeat myself) lie.
Journalismers, like at the New York Times, who claimed the pro-Israel Kirk made antisemetic comments on his radio show. Turns out, he was reading someone else's comments... before going off on how wrong they are.

Then there's The Hollywood Reporter, with the headline "MAGA Blames ‘South Park’ for Charlie Kirk Assassination as Comedy Central Pulls Episode."
Yes, the same episode of South Park that Charlie Kirk was happy to "be a part of," and had even switched his profile picture to Cartman.
Were there some X accounts saying things out of emotion and anger? Sure. The problem with this headline is the seventh paragraph, in this article, THR was counting on you not reading and only reacting to the headline on social media.
That said, many others on the right — perhaps even the majority — were quick to note they do not blame the series, so the impulse to bash the show has been far from universal. One “MAGA” labeled X account wrote, “I don’t blame South Park. They aren’t our leaders, representatives, mentors, pastors, example setters or societal caretakers. They are satire!”
It's just barely eight o'clock in the morning, and I could already use a drink. Which I feel bad about, because Charlie had posted on X recently that you should cut out alcohol. I think I reposted and said, "This is not what I voted for."
