Jorge Masvidal vs. Bruce Springsteen. Both presidential campaigns had celebrities speak out on their behalf yesterday, and a better example of how Trump vs. Kamala views the middle class could not be drawn. One has a message that speaks to the struggles of working Americans throughout all of the United States of the Americas. And the other is Bruce Springsteen.

It also shows which campaign is starting to panic.

Masvidal spoke to CNN and was asked about the messages that both campaigns are sending and why so many men are attracted to Trump's message. It's simple. Middle-class men are wired to work and provide, and the last four years have made everything more difficult and more expensive to do so.

These same hard working dogs are going to be like, 'No matter how many hours I put in now, I'm still coming up considerably short... I'm working more hours than I was 5 years ago — like crazy amount more... I'm doing more things on the side and I still can't make ends meet. I still can't get a loan at a a decent rate. I still can't finance a car...

There is not a single dude in the country who can't relate unless you are employed by the media or the Democrat Party (but I repeat myself). The Trump campaign addresses real issues that Americans are facing and struggling with, which they have been facing during the duration of the Harris-Bidem regime. So, how does Kamala Harris respond?

STAFFER: We're losing the middle class. What the sh*t are we gonna do now?

KAMALA HQ: Dress Springsteen in a flannel and stick him in a diner. The whites will totally eat it up.

I'm not going to do the thing where I pretend not to like his music, which he hasn't produced anything noteworthy of since the late 80s. And it was cool to see him hop up on stage at the Zach Bryan concert, just because... hey, that's Bruce Springsteen. But the cynicism of the visual alone -- old white guy wearing flannel in a dinner -- is enough to make you cringe out of your skin before you press the play button.

You know there was an overpriced production company behind this. They market-tested what color flannel best says "suburbia" and did a couple of takes to determine whether he should lean to the right or the left. And having him so obviously reading from cue cards doesn't quite scream authenticity.

Only people who think Tim Walz will appeal to men and selling camouflage ballcaps that no one outside Brooklyn buys will appeal to the middle class think Bruuuuuuuce will move the needle.
