Warning to anyone who hates loud noises and swift justice. Over the long holiday weekend (for us, starting on Wednesday and ending sometime today) during which much of us Yankees were gorging ourselves on mostly sides and some turkey, a young terrorist got his stabbing jollies off on the London Bridge, killing two and injuring five. That was until a British Bobby drew his sidearm and fired.

Amen, amen I say to you, he who reigns fire upon one who terrorists shall be granted a cold, giant Guinness unto him.

You know how it's said "Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings"? There's a lesser known axiom which goes similarly. "Every time a shot rings out, a terrorist's life goes out." Sure, sure, we also say "It's always a tragedy when someone loses their life" but I disagree. Murderers and terrorists being demised do not leave tears in my eyes. Hence I shared not one, but two videos of Usman Khan breathing his last.

Pakistani native Usman Khan, 28, who was released from jail a year ago after serving just half of a 16-year sentence for plotting with eight others in 2010 to bomb London landmarks, was acting alone when he killed a man and a woman and wounded three other people, Metropolitan Police commissioner Dame Cressida Dick said Saturday.

Lemme get this straight. Usman was released from the clink after serving half his time. A sentence doled out to him because he was hoping to bomb parts of London. Do I have that right? So some British knobs, probably in powdered wigs, decided eight years was enough time for Usman to sit in a corner and think about how naughty he was. Instead, he spent eight years thinking about what he'd blow up or stab once he earned his freedom. Two people lost their lives thanks to the "justice system's" pity. Need I also point out it took a policeman with a gun, which British citizens are not allowed to carry, to end this terrorist's crime spree. It should be noted no hashtag was used in the terrorist's elimination.

If this officer is feeling a little blue for having to dispatch an evil-doer, someone who knows him owes him a pint and reassurance he did right by the British people. Which the justice system cannot say.
