Tucker Carlson hosted Greg Bovino, who made some bizarre claims about President Donald Trump and immigration. The evidence, however, seems to disagree. Today’s show breaks down what is actually true.

“They want you to believe that President Trump has betrayed you on everything,” Crowder said.

Specifically, the claim is that he has betrayed the American people on immigration.

“That is pretty bold because that is the one claim that is most verifiably false,” Crowder added.

While Bovino is no longer working with the Trump Administration, it should be noted that efficiency, including arrests, has increased since his departure. However, he claims that immigration enforcement in the United States has stopped.

“That is completely false,” Crowder said. “To say nothing has been done is false."

Border crossings are down 94%. Deportation estimates are at 3 million and counting. ICE arrested 50,000 people in July, which was the most on record.

“Did you vote for perfect, or did you vote for more than ever?” Crowder said.

H-1 B applications are also down 87%. Visa revocations are at 370,000 and counting.

“This is not to say you shouldn't compromise when compromise isn't necessary, but you do need to face the prospect of the alternative. Do you think any of that would have been done under Kamala Harris, an extension of Joe Biden? Of course not. She said she would do the opposite. Former Vice President Joe Biden did the opposite,” Crowder said.

Bovino also claimed that immigration enforcement stopped after “the great surrender in Minnesota.”

“Here is the truth: arrests have dramatically increased since Minneapolis,” Crowder said. “It is one thing to have a conversation and have legitimate criticism; it is another to have a conversation based on an entire fabrication. There is just no basis in reality. Since the surrender in Minnesota, it has gone up dramatically. It has only increased in speed since Bovino has been gone.”

He also claimed that the administration is ignoring all of the illegal immigrants who have no criminal conviction. However, based on the truth, 70% of those detained by ICE have no criminal conviction. And Tom Homan has repeatedly said that while the worst criminals will be targeted first, they will deport everyone they encounter who is here illegally. This is in addition to the extra one million people who lost their TPS status.

Another false claim he made is that Tom Homan was only a Border Patrol agent for one year before moving up.

“The truth is, he was a Border Patrol agent from 1984 to 1988. He was an officer and agent, and he also worked with ICE. You won’t find anyone more qualified or respected on this issue,” Crowder said. “This guy has done his job.”

Crowder added, “I am not saying they are not giving you misinformation to make you look like a fool on purpose. I am saying go check the references, and if you use their premises, you will look like a fool.”
