Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has filed FOIA requests to identify anyone who has dared to allow ICE to use private property.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu filed a FOIA request to learn what private citizens or businesses are considering leasing space to ICE.
The city government plans on harassing these private property owners, bullying them to keep them from exercising their rights as citizens.

She claims harassing private citizens “protects the community.” But if this were true, why is it not true? In fact, these de facto harassment efforts can only make the public more unsafe, as she does everything in her power to undermine national security.
This is precisely why DHS called her out and said what needed to be said:

So she’s hunting down private property owners and threatening them for working with ICE — because she’d rather intimidate law-abiding Bostonians than get criminal illegal aliens OFF the street.
This is an understatement.
According to WCVB:
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu sent a letter out to parking garage and lot owners around the city on Tuesday, urging them to reject any requests from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for parking spaces.
"Today, I ask you to join us: Reject any proposition by ICE to facilitate an attack on the people of Boston," Wu's letter read.
The problem with claiming this is an “attack on the people” is that foreign nationals, especially those who have committed crimes post facto, never had a so-called right to be here. Additionally, illegal immigration jeopardizes public safety. This is why it is nothing more than a deranged lie for her to claim this is about protecting people, when that could not be further from the truth.
The letter comes a month after ICE posted a request to lease nearly 250 parking spots in downtown Boston. It was unclear if the agency would open a new facility or just expand its current Boston office.
“Were ICE to procure such resources, it would constitute an unprovoked and unwarranted escalation, creating potentially significant risks to public safety and halting economic activity across our entire region," the letter said.
LOL. Don't you love how the letter calls this “unprovoked and unwarranted” when officials are simply enforcing the laws. It is not unprovoked, as these foreign nationals broke federal immigration laws. It is not unwarranted because, again, they never had a right to be here in the first place. And for her to claim her efforts have anything to do with public safety while she is actively undermining it tells you all you need to know.
Maybe one day the mayor will defend Americans in Boston the way she does foreign nationals breaking our laws, but until then, this is the best she's got. What a disgrace.
