Corey Booker claims voter ID wouldn't have prevented New Jersey from "accidentally" registering over 6000 illegals to vote

So the thing that the left keeps saying does not happen keeps happening. This time, the powers that be have chalked it up to a “clerical error.” The fact that incompetence is being used as an excuse for foreign nationals registering to vote and not used to fuel election integrity tells you all you need to know.
Noncitizens were caught voting in New Jersey elections. According to Senator Cory Booker, he still believes voters should not have to prove they are who they say they are because “Nothing in the SAVE Act would have prevented a clerical error as we’ve seen in New Jersey.”

Yeah -- the people are not buying this nonsense. Do you need any more proof of how little he actually cares about the American people?

The GOP has been hammering New Jersey Democrats ever since Sherrill announced that 6,600 noncitizens were mistakenly added to the state's voter rolls during that two-year period, before she was in office, as election integrity sits as a key focal point ahead of the November midterms.
Any illegal vote cast overrode the voice of a legitimate vote for the American people. For the side to claim they are all in to defend democracy, they sure do not care when democracy is being threatened. Why do you think that is?
The revelations appear to undercut Democrats' assurances that noncitizens are not voting in U.S. elections, while feeding into Republicans' push for stricter federal standards at the ballot box. To date, however, there has been no evidence that shows noncitizens have swayed the outcome of any federal election.
It does not matter if there is or is not evidence that noncitizens voting has swayed any election. The fact that the system was this easily rigged is the problem. And there even being a potential for this to occur, combined with the fact that no meaningful change has been made, is the unacceptable part worthy of outrage. And again, to call this a threat to Democracy would be an understatement.
