A 79-year-old woman was minding her own business in her own home when a young hoodlum broke into her house. She dialed 911 and requested police, who took about ten minutes to get to her. The woman managed to shoot the intruder at least twice while waiting for police to arrive. Listen to the 911 call:

"I'm waitin' on ya', come on!" she shouts from downstairs. "When you come down those stairs I’m gonna blow your damn brains out!"

Still on the phone with 911, she fires her pistol again, toward the second floor of the house.

"Ma’am, are you shootin' at him again?" the 911 dispatcher asks.

"Yes, ma’am," she answers.

This woman is a grade-A badass.

If you haven't listened to the full 911 call, you should. Then imagine how scared you'd be if an intruder was in your home. You'd called 911 but police had to drive to your home, taking what seemed like forever to arrive. Those minutes, had this woman not had her pistol, could'be been devastating. The woman repeatedly asked the 911 dispatcher to hurry, to send police, and the 911 dispatcher had to keep reminding her police were on the way. Related: YES! We need our guns, our Second Amendment rights, because police cannot fold their arms and hard blink, then pop over like I Dream of Genie. This woman would've been defenseless without her weapon, which she used to protect herself.
