If you've been on X-Twitter this morning, you've seen a clip of Abdulrahman Mohamed "Abdul" El-Sayed from 60 Minutes. The clip includes a "quote" of Abdulrahman making the case in favor of (trans) men in girls' sports because they're going to see a dick eventually anyway, so what's the big deal?
That's not a verbatim quote of what he said, but the word salad he tosses is not much better.
He was asked about boys dominating girls' sports, and Abdulrahman said parents shouldn't try to protect their children from being exposed to things.
"Your daughters are going to see male genitalia anyway, so who cares if they see it in their locker room." — Abdul El-Sayed https://t.co/n5159VC0ns

The notion, somehow, that you are going to prevent your child from being exposed to something that you may find disagreeable and that that is going to be because of school is so profoundly outdated. Because, of course, you have all the information and they have all the information. ... I think it’s really important for us to recognize that the free flow of information is actually a beautiful thing. It’s really important. And the most important thing you can do is not try to protect a person from seeing a thing.
I understand the argument people make that voters are more receptive to culture war issues when their money is right. And that when they are concerned about affordability, culture war issues don't resonate as much. Okay? Okay.
The thing parents want to prevent their daughter from seeing and being exposed to is a penis against their will.
All Abdulrahman had to do is say "I think this is a fake issue," and then pivot to affordability or something something Trump.
Instead, he says the problem is that parents are trying too hard to protect their kids from being exposed to things they don't want them exposed to. This is the attitude that the left uses to take rights away from those parents.
It's who the left is. Don't ever forget that.
Least of all, don't forget that tomorrow when you go vote.
