According to Abdul El-Sayed, he is “cis and heterosexual and married to a woman. That’s normative in this country.” However, this does not change the fact that he is all in for gay rights, whatever that even means.

The reason that is "normative" is because for much of human history this went without saying. The only reason this now has the label of “normative” or whatever nonsense the left comes up with is that they are trying to discredit the most normal human thing in human history, which is to marry someone of the opposite sex. This was never supposed to be controversial because for much of eternity, this is what we called a nonissue. Nonetheless, here comes Abdul to discuss problems that don't exist, to fight for rights that should really be called special privileges.
Question: Can anyone name one right straight people have that the gays don't? No? I didn't think so. That is why it is narcissistic and a threat to everyone else's rights for people like Abdul to claim otherwise. Does he really think this is a winning campaign strategy?
*Disclaimer* The reason I call them fake rights is not that equality is unimportant, but because gay people already have equal rights. Any fight claiming otherwise would grant a certain group special privileges that the rest don't have, under the guise of LGBT rights. For example, trans women, aka males, being allowed to compete in the women's division. That is not an equal right; it is a special privilege. Glad we cleared this up for the leftist in the back.
Nonetheless, there are so many people in Michigan struggling to make ends meet, yet Abdul believes it serves the people to talk about fake gay rights that don't need fighting. Did you think it was possible to be this pathetic?
According to the internet, Abdul is Muslim. Weird how he fights so hard for fake gay rights here but fails to mention the human rights abuses overseas. And considering this country is one of the most pro-gay countries in the world, this makes it all the more disingenuous.
Maybe one day Abdul will fight for things that actually matter, but until then, this is the best he's got. What a disgrace.
