The City of Los Angeles is one of the most famous cities in the world. This means that when it comes to mayoral elections, it would be one of the most discussed in national politics. This is what makes it pathetic for Nithya Raman, who is running to unseat Mayor Karen Bass, to claim that she might be targeted by ICE.
Nithya Raman, a woman running for Mayor of Los Angeles and now one of the most recognizable races in America, tells voters she has to carry her passport around because she’s afraid of being targeted and deported by ICE🚨 Nithya Raman says if she’s elected her primary goal is going to be using the courts to bring lawsuits against ICE, fight ICE and to fund legal defenses for illegals against deportation This is our tax money she wants to use for this“As an immigrant to America, as a naturalized citizen, I'm now carrying my passport around with me. I never thought I would have to do that, but I carry it around with me every day. Right. It is scary. This city has not actually joined in a lot of lawsuits — The urgency around pushing back and using the courts is not there with this mayor, and as mayor, I would bring it. We need to be able to fund immigration defense. People are in detention facilities. They do not have access to lawyers — As mayor, I would ensure that immigration defense is a priority in my budget and ensure that we are funding it to the fullest possible capacity”She also says people are being “kidnapped by ICEThis is such a joke. Only two things can be correct here. One possibility is that she is objectively retarded and truly believes this. The other possibility would be that she is an evil liar who intends to scare people to get votes. Only one of these things can be true, so draw your own conclusions, but to claim this should automatically make her ineligible to ever run for office would be an understatement.

Again, did you think it was possible to be this stupid? Unclear how immigration laws work in Kerala, India, but here in America, we have this little thing called “laws.” This means that breaking federal immigration laws is, in fact, a crime. The fact that she is a naturalized citizen already tells her all she needs to know, but she pretends as if none of that is relevant, while injecting fear into the people. That is far from compassionate and is a total disservice to the people of Los Angeles.
You can't go around suing ICE for enforcing the laws Congress enacted. The Los Angeles City Council, which she is on, was already informed that interfering with these operations would be considered obstruction of justice.

How can I remember this as someone not on the Los Angeles City Council, but Raman forgets it, when she was likely sitting in that very room? The city is run by the most idiotic buffoons to ever walk this earth. It truly is amazing how asinine these people are.
