To claim that Tampon Tim’s legacy will be fraught with fraud would be putting it lightly. But the man is a total disgrace, and his incompetence resulted in one of the worst mass fraud scandals Minnesota has likely ever seen. Scott Bessent had no choice but to call him out for all of that.

According to CBS:
FBI Minneapolis and partner agencies executed 17 search warrants on Thursday in connection with four people who were indicted on fraud-related charges, FBI Director Kash Patel said.
The Treasury secretary said at the news conference that federal officials have created an online portal where people can submit tips about suspected fraud.
Just to put into perspective how massive the fraud was:

The fraud was so bad in this specific program that it was forced to shut down. That tells you all you need to know.

How is this even possible? The only way something like this is possible is if officials intentionally turn a blind eye. The fact that fraudsters benefited from these programs while Americans struggled to make ends meet, yet funded all of it, is infuriating.
