Watch: "Footage" (lol) of What Starbucks' Sensitivity Training Looks Like
Today is the day of Starbucks' sensitivity training. 8,000 stores are being closed as a result of #YouCantSitHereGate (see Starbucks to Close for ‘Racial Bias Training.’ Internet Responds Hilariously. and Video: Man Hilariously Trolls Barista With ‘Starbucks Reparations’). You may have noticed the long lines at Dunkin Donuts. Where the coffee is better in the first place.
Comedy troupe Apologia Studios imagined what that training might look like. It seems pretty spot on.
This one line made me choke on my large black coffee. Because at Dunkin Donuts, they don't make us say snooty things like "venti." Also, I like my coffee like I like my Hodge Twins.
You know what, Todd? If you stopped eating mayonaise all day and stopped watching "Gilmore Girls" and "Dawson's Creek," I bet you'd finally be able to open up your eyes AND SEE THAT THE WORLD IS FULL OF EXCITING DIFFERENT COLORS!
Who says the left is un-mockable? Oh, that's right. Leftists who don't have a sense of humor.
For the rest of us, the left has become a walking parody of itself. So much so, we're having difficulty separating satire of the left from the actual left. Because I'm betting at least some of the above video will make it into actual Starbucks sensitivity training.
Reminder, there was no racism in the original case.
Brodigan is Grand Poobah of this here website and when he isn't writing words about things enjoys day drinking, pro-wrestling, and country music. You can find him on the Twitter too.
