According to Senator Elizabeth Warren, aka Pocahontas, it’s a “flat-out lie” that the Dems want to provide healthcare for “noncitizens” on the American taxpayers’ dime.
However, someone once told me that the longer you explain, not only are you losing, but the bigger the lie. And it took her quite a lot of words just to explain this “flat-out lie.” If I didn’t know any better, I’d say she’s using a red herring, as evidenced by all this nonsense about bankrupt rural hospitals, which couldn’t be further from the truth. This is especially true because illegal aliens are much more likely to live in metropolitan areas than the middle of nowhere, but I digress.
I know the Dems would rather give illegals free healthcare than keep the government open. And you know this. And I know that you know this. And, of course, you know that I know this. That’s what makes it so rich that Pocahontas is calling it a “flat-out lie,” when, let’s be honest, everyone—and their grandmas—knows better. But that’s neither here nor there.
You want to know what really strains the system and could put hospitals out of business? Providing free healthcare to “noncitizens.” It’s insanely expensive, and it can divert funds and care away from citizens who actually pay taxes. That’s what makes it so disingenuous when they pretend they’re doing it all for the American people—when we all know exactly where they really stand.
If you really think about it, it’s astonishing how much our senators feel the need to argue about this. In a serious country, this wouldn’t even get a second thought—but we’re not normal, and your representatives refuse to actually represent you. But what else is new?
People like Pocahontas love to tug on your heartstrings and pretend that providing more services for “noncitizens” does not strain the system—logic, of course, tells a very different story. She can lie all she wants, but the truth is, no one’s falling for it.
