A group that calls themselves, quote, "Pissed Off Trannies (POT) staged a protest outside the Equality and Human Rights Commission in London. It was peaceful. It involved multiple bottles of urine, and one trans activist wearing a duck mask dumped some on himself... In protest... This is a real thing that happened, according to Vice.

The POTs went to the EHRC building where they placed sixty bottles of urine outside in what they refer to as a "piss in." It is to symbolize the--and I want to make sure I get this quote right--"public embarrassment that trans people experience on a daily basis, using the toilet that either doesn't fit with their gender or using the one that does, and then facing the backlash of people's judgment."

Even in 2022, there are critics in this world who think it's wrong for a man who identifies as a woman to use a women's bathroom. A lot of those critics ARE women who don't want any man, regardless of how they identify, using their bathroom. There tend not to be as many women identifying as men fighting to use the men's room. Not unlike there are not a lot of women identifying as men looking to compete in men's sports.

During the protest, one activist who appeared to be born male poured a bottle of urine over themself. I say "appeared," because they were wearing a duck mask. It is unclear if he was protesting bathrooms or was there on behalf of a different cause.

Allies were quick to celebrate the piss-in.

Others on the left felt this reeked of performative slactivism and having too much asparagus. Because, at the end of the day, there are proper ways to use urine to advance your cause and improper ways.
