According to Genesis 1:27, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” So, why on God’s green Earth, is a “minister” claiming otherwise? So much so that he announced to his congregation that he will be transitioning from male to female, or, as he put it, “giving up pretending to be a man?” That is unclear at this point, but one more verse comes to mind, which is Matthew 7:15: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

According to Protestia, “Rev. Dr. Phil Phaneuf is the senior minister of The United Methodist Church of North Chili.” He told his congregation on Nov. 23 that “he was transgender and had already begun taking hormone replacement therapy, adding, ‘I’m not becoming a woman. I’m giving up pretending to be a man.’”

Now, I don't have to tell you why or how this is deranged, it goes without saying. But it begs the questions. If these people are to deny God's word, so much so that they mock the very first verses retaining to creation, why pretend to be Christian? If they hate God's teachings so much, why are they trying to lead God's people? I think most people reading this know the answer to that, which can also be found in 1 John 4:1: “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

It’s not compassionate to lie to people, especially yourself. He can pretend being trans is how God made him but it's the very antithesis of it. This is so extreme that he argues with the Bible in the very first book, which proves just how much he likely thinks about the rest of it.

In case you were wondering, he is also “Asexual.” Apparently, this means he is not looking for romance. Now, I have been to a lot of churches and never have I been to one where leaders talk about their desire, or lack thereof, to find a partner. Call me crazy, but I find this a bit inappropriate, to say the very least.

Nonetheless, God created two genders. And the sooner he realizes that, the better off his church fam bam will be. Until then, he can mock God's word all he wants but he should remember one crucial point, Matthew 12:31, which states “every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.” That's it, that's the verse. But something tells me he may or may not reject that one as well. Why do you think that is?
