Blokes in the UK getting a visit by police over a social media post is nothing new. Each one is an excuse to say "Pay Attention, America" because what the left does in the UK is the VERY EXACT THING the left in this country will do if they are ever given enough power. Only now they are visiting people not because of what they posted, but because of comments from other people on what they posted and memes created by other people using what they posted.
Let's repeat: that OTHER PEOPLE posted. Not the bloke who got the visit from the police. Or, I guess this is a bird. Blokes are dudes. Birds are ladies. Cops are people who never imagined this is what they were signing up for.
At least I hope not. I can't imagine a kid playing cops and robbers and deciding they want to grow up to be a police man so they can arrest people for posting mean things on the internets.
A policeman came round my house this morning.Because of a post I didn’t even put up.Surely people must have better things to do?? https://t.co/ehkQMyxo62

Here's the thing. I didn't see the meme in question myself, and couldn't find it on the line. However, I did ask Grok if he knew anything, and here's how he described the offending meme in question.
The meme is an edited photo of two men by a gate. One (casual clothes) has a bubble saying "I know there's a farm around here somewhere bruv". The other (robes and cap) says "Where's the girls at bruv?". A cartoon goat between them says "I gotta go warn nanny". The shop owner posted the plain photo; a third party added the bubbles.

I don't get it.
Usually when police show up at someone's house in the UK, it's because they posted something about the alleged muslim migrant crisis. I know a few months ago, UK's Home Office released literature explaining to migrants that sexual assault is bad and child abuse is illegal. But none of that has anything to do with goats.

If anyone else sees a copy of the offending meme on the line, let me know, and maybe we can figure it out together.
What's more alarming is this bit of dialogue between a citizen and a police officer confronting her over something she didn't ackshually post herself.
Bird: I'll post what I want because it's a free country.
Po-po: To a point.
To a point?
I'm advising you to be aware of what you're putting on your page. Because if it continues and we can prove there are offenses there, the next time we come back we can have a conversation at the police station.
Be aware of what you're posting on your page...because if someone else takes it and memes it, and the authorities decide that meme is offensive, you might get dragged down to the police station as a result.
Insane? Yes. It's also the UK, so it's not surprising.
Pay attention, America.
