Nick Shirley exposes ANOTHER Democrat-run city fraud scheme, involving EBT and $120 for SPAM
Nick Shirley was just in Seattle doing what he does best -- expose fraud. He has now taken a break from exposing Somali daycare fraudsters and the fake Hospice epidemic in Los Angeles to take you to the next biggest fraud scheme-- food stamp fraud.
🚨 1 can of Spam for $120.Food stamps have become the new ATM for fraudsters as they partner with local businesses to commit the fraud as they trade SNAP cards like Pokémon cards on the streets. Across America food stamp fraud is happening everywhere. It has become a billion dollar fraudulent industry as taxpayers fund the $100 billion program. We caught a fraudster on the streets of Seattle as she attempted to buy a can of spam and sushi for $120 in a food stamp for cash exchange, it’s a billion dollar fraudulent scheme stealing from the poor and hungry. This is a must watch and is happening everywhere. EXPOSE AND SHUT IT ALL DOWN.

While in Seattle, Shirley went undercover and indicated he would sell a lady his card worth $120 for $60. She took him and Grant Denton to Lam’s Seafood, where they attempted to sell him Spam and Sushi for $120. The problem with this is that Spam and Sushi from Lam’s Seafood do not cost this much. And while I cannot tell you they charged him that amount because they were attempting to commit fraud, I will tell you honest people do not charge people $120 for Spam. Draw your own conclusions.
The whole thing was crazy. From his security personnel having their gun stolen to uncovering a potential “mob-like” food stamp scheme, Seattle is not upholding food stamp excellence.
This is not the first time a grocery store was caught in an alleged fraud scheme, and unfortunately, it probably will not be the last.
In April, “the 64-year-old owner of a small Tacoma market was arraigned today in U.S. District Court in Tacoma for multiple counts of wire fraud and SNAP benefit fraud.” According to the DOJ, “Bedi owned and operated a small grocery store in Tacoma. In February 2024, the store was authorized to accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits – formerly known as food stamps. The indictment alleges that beginning in March 2024, Bedi agreed to provide SNAP recipients with cash in exchange for the money loaded on their electronic benefits card (EBT).”
I don't have to tell you how infuriating it is to have to pay for astronomically high grocery prices while fraudsters take advantage of taxpayer-funded programs intended to help those less fortunate. Something must be done to stop this. People should not have to foot the bill for fraudsters all under the guise of helping people. This was never how the government was intended to work, and to call the people running these programs a bunch of incompetent buffoons would be putting it lightly.
